Pemex and NuStar Energy LP will start operations to transport naphtha

State oil company Pemex and NuStar Energy LP will start joint operations to transport and store naphtha which is the key component of the finished gasoline sold in the country service stations.

NuStar and a Pemex subsidiary dedicated to international trading known for the acronym PMI, signed a 10-year accord under which the pipeline of NuStar will move to Texas some of the naphtha produced in Mexico.

NuStar has operations, besides the US, in Canada, Mexico, Netherlands and the UK.
