Petrol Ofisi Group and Türk Telekom expand software management system
This ambitious project spans Petrol Ofisi Group's extensive network of nearly 2,700 fuel stations.
Petrol Ofisi Group, Türkiye's leading fuel retailer, and Türk Telekom have announced the launch of a new phase in their Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) collaboration.
This ambitious project spans Petrol Ofisi Group's extensive network of nearly 2,700 fuel stations across all 81 provinces in Türkiye. Türk Telekom hailed the initiative as a milestone in SD-WAN implementation, not only within the energy sector but also on a global scale.
"This innovative SD-WAN technology provides Petrol Ofisi Group with centralized management of its wide area networks, ensuring nearly 100 percent availability, enhanced flexibility, and scalability," Türk Telekom stated.
The enhanced collaboration aims to strengthen the security and efficiency of managing sales, stock, and refueling data across Petrol Ofisi’s nationwide network, including rural fuel pumps.
Under the new agreement, the advanced SD-WAN technology will also be deployed at bp stations and service points that were recently integrated into Petrol Ofisi's operations following its acquisition of bp’s Türkiye network.
