Petroprix invests €25M to establish 50 stations in Portugal by 2026
With 20 locations set to open in 2025, the company aims to expand its reach across the country by capturing 3% of the market share.
Petroprix is set to accelerate its expansion in Portugal with an investment of €25 million, aiming to establish 50 service stations by the end of 2026.
Currently, the company operates three service stations across the country and plans to add approximately 20 more locations in 2025, with an estimated investment of €10 million. The cost per station is expected to range between €400,000 and €500,000, depending on size and location, according to El Periódico de la Energía.
Between 2027 and 2028, Petroprix aims to capture 3% of the Portuguese market share, focusing on automated and low-cost service stations.
"Our stations offer the same fuel as the major brands, but with savings of up to 10 cents per liter, thanks to an efficient system with no additional costs," said Manuel Santiago, CEO of Petroprix.
Recently, the company opened its third station in Matosinhos (Porto), strategically located near the urban center with easy access.
This ambitious expansion shows Petroprix’s confidence in the Portuguese market and its commitment to providing more refueling options for customers across the country.
