Preem installs ultrafast chargers in Uppsala
The new chargers will have a power capacity of 150-350 kW, improving from the previous generation of 50 kW fast chargers.
Preem and Recharge have opened four ultrafast chargers in Uppsala, Sweden. The energy player plans to install hundreds of ultrafast chargers at stations across the Nordic country.

“We are very pleased that with our new superchargers we can facilitate mobility for all customers with electric vehicles in Uppsala. Making it easier and faster to charge is part of Preem's strategy to offer more environmentally efficient energy types at our stations and our overall transition work,” says Patrik Johansson, responsible for Preem's retail network in Sweden.
The charging station at Preem in Uppsala will offer payment with charging cards, bank card and several operators' apps.
The rollout of more stations will take place at major highways and at Preem's manned stations. The ambition is to equip 15-25 stations annually in partnership with Recharge.
Preem has a network with more than 520 service stations for private and commercial use.
