Preem to enhance sustainability monitoring at fuel stations
The Swedish fuel retailer will leverage Consupedia’s food database to provide its category managers with detailed sustainability insights.
Preem is taking a new step toward a more sustainable product offering at its fuel stations through a partnership with Consupedia. This collaboration makes Preem the first fuel retailer to systematically measure and track key sustainability aspects at its staffed service stations.
“This partnership with Consupedia allows us to take a more structured approach to ensuring a sustainable product range in our stores, with a strong focus on climate impact, environmental considerations, health, and social responsibility,” said Marie Bark, Preem’s Head of Marketing.
With more than 100 staffed fuel stations, Preem will leverage Consupedia’s extensive food database to provide its category managers with detailed sustainability insights. This data-driven approach enables systematic tracking of product sustainability across multiple criteria, including climate impact, environmental responsibility, health aspects, and social accountability.
For customers, this means that Preem’s retail offering will be continuously optimized to align with sustainability goals. The collaboration is part of the company’s broader efforts to enhance the environmental and social responsibility of its store selection.
