PTT, Centrica sign 10-year LNG deal to boost Asian market presence
Agreement marks PTT’s first long-term LNG sales outside Thailand, starting in 2028.
PTT International Trading has signed a landmark 10-year LNG Sale and Purchase Agreement with Centrica LNG Company Limited, set to begin in 2028. The deal builds on the terms signed in June 2025 and represents PTT’s first long-term LNG sales contract beyond Thailand, with cargoes delivered to multiple destinations across Asia on an ex-ship basis.
“This milestone marks a significant step for PTTT toward sustainable growth in global LNG trading,” the company stated in a press release. The agreement was formalized at a signing ceremony attended by senior executives from both companies.
The partnership aims to enhance efficiency and flexibility across LNG supply chain management, enabling both companies to better respond to evolving market challenges and rapidly changing global LNG demand.
By strengthening collaboration, PTTT and Centrica seek to reinforce their competitiveness in the international energy market.
