Q8 expands Belgian network with seven new stations

The move strengthens Q8’s footprint in areas combining retail, mobility and high visitor flows.

Q8 is set to expand its presence in Belgium with the takeover of seven fuel stations located at redeveloped Shopping Cora sites across Brussels and Wallonia. The move strengthens Q8’s footprint in areas combining retail, mobility and high visitor flows.

The new stations sit within former Cora hypermarket sites currently being transformed by Mitiska REIM into modern retail centers, attracting brands such as Dreamland, Kiabi, Jysk, Dreambaby, Aldi and Delhaize. Q8 has highlighted the synergy between fuel stations and retail as central to its growth strategy.

The company says the expansion aligns with its three strategic priorities: pairing mobility with a strong retail mix, increasing visibility in high‑traffic zones and preparing sites for future mobility needs, including electric charging.

“We want to be exactly where the customer needs us,” said Bart Moens, Q8’s Network Development Manager. He noted that the locations’ proximity to busy transport and business corridors offers “relevance for the future”, including potential deployment of Q8 electric infrastructure.

In the coming months, the stations will adopt the Q8 easy branding before undergoing phased modernization aimed at improving safety, ease of use, and the overall customer experience.

Q8 currently operates more than 465 stations in Belgium and is investing heavily in sustainable mobility and electric charging across the Benelux region.
