Royal Farms deploys 76 EV fast chargers across network
23 locations throughout Maryland and Delaware have been equipped with charging services in partnership with Blink Charging.
Royal Farms has rolled out 76 electric vehicle (EV) fast chargers across its retail network in the United States.
The retailer has partnered with Blink Charging to deploy the fast charging equipment at 23 locations across Maryland and Delaware. The Baltimore-based convenience retail chain plans to deploy over 100 EV charging ports throughout its network.
“The addition of these Blink chargers has significantly expanded the charging capabilities to much of our network and Royal Farms looks forward to working with Blink as we continue to respond to customer needs throughout the mid-Atlantic region,” said Tom Ruszin, Fuel and Environment Leader for Royal Farms.
The chargers were funded in part through the Maryland Department of the Environment’s Electric Corridors Grants Program and Delaware’s DNREC Division of Air Quality.
In addition to the new Blink chargers, Royal Farms stores are fitted with convenience store goods and a full kitchen for customized fresh orders to take on the go or eat on-site while customers charge up.
