Royal Farms opens new store in Virginia
New location strengthens the retailer’s presence in the state with fuel services, fresh food and 24/7 operations.
Royal Farms is expanding its footprint in Virginia with the opening of a new convenience store and fuel station in Chester. Located on Moores Lake Road, the site will provide around-the-clock access to fuel, fresh food and convenience products, further growing the retailer’s presence in the Mid-Atlantic region.
The new location features 16 fuel dispensers and a full range of the company’s foodservice offerings, including made-to-order meals, breakfast items and its signature fried chicken. The store will align with Royal Farms’ strategy of combining fuel retail with an extensive convenience and foodservice offer.
Ahead of the official opening, the company plans to host a two-day soft opening event, allowing local residents to visit the site and experience its food and services before operations begin in full.
The Chester opening continues the retailer’s expansion across Virginia and neighboring states. Founded in Baltimore in 1959, Royal Farms now operates more than 300 locations across Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina.
