ryd pay lands in Belgium at the hands of MAES
The mobile payments solution will be available across 300 MAES, Shell and Esso petrol stations in Belgium.
Customers in Belgium can now pay throughout the entire MAES network from their vehicles with ryd pay.
With a 10% market share, MAES is the largest independent petrol station operator in Belgium.

Belgium is an attractive market for solutions such as ryd pay due to the digital affinity of its customers. According to Belgian financial association Febelfin, 89% of respondents to a survey said they preferred digital payment solutions.
MAES Energy & Mobility, a family business founded in 1965, owns a network of more than 300 gas stations.
