Shell opens its 200th gas station in Mexico
The opening of new service stations is part of Shell's expansion plan with an investment of one billion dollars in Mexico over the next 10 years.
Shell has opened a new service station in the Santa Fe area of Mexico City. The opening is the 200th gas station of the Anglo-Dutch company in Mexico.
"The opening of the Santa Fe station underlines Shell's long-term commitment in Mexico to efficiently provide the highest quality products. Users will be able to fill up on Shell V-Power petrol, Shell Super regular petrol, and find Shell Helix lubricants," said Murray Fonseca, Downstream Lead for Shell Mexico.
The new station adds to the stations that the company has around the country, mainly in the states of Puebla, Queretaro, Guanajuato, Hidalgo, Jalisco, Coahuila, Aguascalientes, Colima, San Luis Potosi, Nayarit, State of Mexico, Tlaxcala and Mexico City.
Shell has been operating in Mexico for more than 60 years.
