Smart lockers coming to MFG’s network in the UK

The company has partnered with Quadient to install the company’s Open Network Lockers across a number of forecourts throughout the country.

Motor Fuel Group (MFG), one of the UK's leading independent forecourt operators, will establish a series of parcel lockers to offer 24/7 delivery and pickup for carriers and consumers across the country.

The company has partnered with Quadient to deploy its Open Network Lockers in the coming weeks across its forecourt network. Its open network of smart lockers aim to benefit the entire e-commerce supply chain by offering 24/7 access.

“These smart lockers will enhance our service offering, driving more customers to our forecourts, and strengthening our position as a top destination for all fuel, EV charging, food, and service needs for the communities we operate in,” said Anna Roddis, Trading Director at MFG.

Carriers can deliver parcels outside of busy traffic hours, with packages securely stored until consumers collect them at their own convenience. Deliveries are successful as soon as the first attempt, helping them optimize last-mile delivery operations and minimize their environmental impact through more efficient route planning.

“By implementing a secure and convenient parcel delivery and pickup service, we want to provide customers with a seamless and hassle-free experience, so stopping by our sites is not only something they plan to do in a journey, but they look forward to,” added Roddis.

With new multi-carrier pickup services added to their network, MFG brings more convenience to customers, increases foot traffic and revenue streams, and continues to enhance the customer experience in their stations.
