Spain: Alvic and Circontrol join forces to offer an integral EV recharging solution
The companies have joined forces to drive the service station and fleet management sectors towards electric mobility.
Circontrol, manufacturer of chargers and intelligent solutions for charging electric vehicles and Alvic, a company dedicated to the integral management of service stations, distribution centers and fleet management join forces to promote fuel retail sector and fleet management towards electric mobility.
The collaboration agreement involves the integration of Circontrol's fast and semi-rapid charging points into the current Alvic solution for management, automation and control of fuel stations and fleet management, integrating everything in a single system and simplifying all processes, management of the charging point, recharging process and payment of services.
The electric charger, with a sophisticated design and modular technology for Alvic service stations and fleet management, will be the Raption 50 charger. This charger is designed for EVs that need to recharge in a minimum time, as well as the eVolve, designed for semi-rapid EVs.
Through this collaboration, Alvic and Circontrol intend to take a step forward in line with the Royal Decree that estimates that fuel stations have sold more than 5 million liters during 2017 and, therefore, must install charging points for electric vehicles in a period of between 9 and 15 months from the entry into force of the law, depending on the volume of liters sold. This Royal Decree will affect about 1,200 service stations of the 11,500 currently in Spain.
