Spain: Iberdrola and AVIA to deploy 500 EV fast chargers
They will install new fast charge points, with 100% green energy, in more than 100 service stations in Spain and Portugal and 10 of them will be Premium.
Iberdrola and AVIA are multiplying tenfold their initial joint commitment to sustainable mobility by deploying more than 500 fast chargers for electric vehicles.
This new action framework comes after completing an initial agreement, which has allowed the installation of 48 fast chargers in 24 AVIA service stations in seven Spanish regions.
"The agreement confirms the importance of working together with all the agents involved in sustainable mobility. In AVIA we have found an optimum ally with which to advance in the implementation of solutions for long-distance rapid recharging to meet the challenges of electric mobility, based on clean energy and without CO2 emissions," explains Alfonso Calderón, Iberdrola's Commercial Director in Spain.
The users of these Iberdrola recharging points have the possibility of recharging the battery of their electric cars with 100% green energy from clean generation sources and have renewable origin guarantee certificates (GdOs).
