Spain: Naturgy opens its second gas filling station in Seville

With the opening of its sixth gas station in Andalusia, Naturgy expands its NGV refuelling network to 40 sites throughout Spain.

Naturgy has launched its second natural gas filling station in Seville, in the municipality of Dos Hermanas. The new site is Naturgy’s sixth station in Andalusia, as the company operates five more locations in Seville, Granada, Jerez de la Frontera, Antequera and Guarroman.

The new location in Seville features a dispenser with a double hose for refuelling CNG vehicles.

With the opening of its second refuelling point in Dos Hermanas, Naturgy reached a total of 40 NGV gas filling stations in operation across Spain.

Use of natural gas vehicles grows in Spain

According to data from GASNAM (Iberian Association of Natural Gas for Mobility), the natural gas vehicle fleet continues to grow in Spain and closed the year with 22.814 units, 60% more than in 2018. The autonomous communities with the highest number of registrations were the Community of Madrid, Catalonia, Castile-La Mancha, the Community of Valencia and Andalusia.
