SPAR International to develop its next loyalty and savings platform
The retailer has partnered up with Spaaza to create a service to help meet the future needs of the different SPAR organisations across the world.
SPAR has announced a strategic partnership to develop the next generation of its personalised loyalty and savings platform. The retailer has teamed up with Spaaza, an independent tech company based in Amsterdam, to help to meet the future needs of the different SPAR organisations across the globe.
SPAR businesses internationally will have the option to implement Spaaza’s seamlessly integrable Application Programming Interface (API)’s to connect with their customer interface within their own app, or to implement a ready-to-go SPAR app solution. The partnership provides opportunities for SPAR to internationally increase engagement through the provision of personalised offers and collect insights to enrich the relationship between individual SPAR country operations and their customers.
“As a company with a proven international track record in employing cutting-edge technology in incentive marketing for modern and social commerce, we see the clear benefits of working with Spaaza. With their focus on creating customer engagement, connections, and personalisation, Spaaza will support us to further grow our digital solutions for SPAR country organisations, helping us to add value to our customers through our next generation personalised loyalty programmes,” said Tom Rose, Head of International Operations at SPAR International.
The Spaaza solution will empower SPAR businesses to turn their loyalty programmes into a personalised marketing channel which can create hyper-targeted, tailored promotions and marketing communications. Spaaza will also give SPAR retailers the advanced ability to provide valuable insights to partnering suppliers. This partnership builds on SPAR’s strategic partnerships with technology companies as part of its worldwide digital transformation strategy.
