SPAR launches new partnership with Deliveroo
This new strategic partnership will provide shoppers with more choice and access to essential items from SPAR stores nationwide.
SPAR UK has signed a new partnership deal with Deliveroo covering all 2,160 SPAR stores in England, Scotland and Wales. This new strategic partnership will provide shoppers with more choice and access to essential items from SPAR stores nationwide, delivered to their door by Deliveroo in as little as 20 minutes.
The partnership gives SPAR stores the opportunity to meet rising consumer demand for on-demand delivery with Deliveroo customers having access to around 2000 food and drink products from participating SPAR stores.
“Our partnership with Deliveroo will enable us to reach more customers, meet their ever-changing shopping habits and drive significant revenue uplift for stores. As our visibility on the Deliveroo platform grows, so will the opportunity for us to differentiate from our competitors,” said Lee Johnson, SPAR UK Strategy and Operations Director.
From today, 66 SPAR stores are available from Deliveroo, with the ambition to onboard as many independent and company owned stores as possible.
