Anwim, the Polish fuel company behind the MOYA station network, has completed a change of ownership, with infrastructure investor Stonepeak and Energy Equation Partners (EEP) becoming its new shareholders. The size of their stakes and the value of the transaction were not disclosed. Anwim’s management board remains unchanged, as do the terms of cooperation with its partners.

With more than 550 stations, MOYA is Poland’s third-largest fuel network by number of sites. It combines full-service, self-service and automated stations with the Caffe MOYA food offer. Anwim also operates in e-mobility, fuel imports and wholesale, and services for business customers.

“We want to develop Anwim as a modern multi-energy company that will respond to the changing needs of customers and the market,” said Rafał Pietrasina, President of the Management Board of Anwim.

“We see in Anwim the potential to build one of the leading independent multi-energy companies in Poland,” said Rob Nijst, Operating Partner at Energy Equation Partners.

The company plans to further expand the MOYA network, build out electric vehicle (EV) charging under the MOYA energia brand and grow its MOYA firma fleet card in Poland, along with TFC fleet cards across Europe. It will draw on Stonepeak and EEP’s experience with the JET network in Germany and Austria, particularly in station management, fleet services and e-mobility.
