Stonepeak, EEP move to acquire MOYA owner Anwim
Deal targets Polish fuel retailer, expanding European network footprint.
Stonepeak and Energy Equation Partners (EEP) have agreed to acquire Anwim, Poland’s largest independent fuel marketer and owner of the MOYA service station network. The transaction strengthens the investors’ existing European fuel retail platform following their majority stake in JET Tankstellen Deutschland in late 2025, with the deal expected to close in the second half of 2026, pending regulatory approvals.
Anwim operates across fuel import, wholesale and retail distribution in Poland, handling around 3 billion liters annually. The company manages more than 540 MOYA stations, making it the country’s third-largest fuel network and one of the fastest growing. Its access to nationwide fuel logistics infrastructure supports both domestic supply and imports, serving a diverse customer base that includes individual drivers, multinational firms and commercial operators.
“Poland continues to exhibit strong, long-term fuel demand, and Anwim is well positioned to meet it,” said Anthony Borreca, Senior Managing Director at Stonepeak, highlighting the company’s “expansive footprint and high-quality infrastructure.” He added that combined expertise across energy infrastructure and e-mobility could support further growth of the MOYA brand.
Anwim CEO Rafał Pietrasina described the agreement as a step toward continued growth after years of transformation. “Securing strong partners in Stonepeak and EEP opens up the next stage of development and creates new perspectives for further strengthening MOYA’s market position,” he said.
Once completed, the acquisition will integrate Anwim into Stonepeak and EEP’s growing European portfolio, linking it with JET’s operations in Germany and Austria and enabling closer alignment of retail strategies, supply capabilities and mobility-focused services across multiple markets.
