Swiftly and 7-Eleven Launch nationwide alcohol cashback program
The U.S. launch is supported by in-store signage intended to link digital promotions with physical shelves.
Swiftly has partnered with 7-Eleven to roll out a nationwide alcohol cashback program across more than 10,500 7-Eleven and Speedway stores. The initiative positions Swiftly to expand its presence in the fast-growing retail media and cashback sector.
The program delivers real-time, state-specific discounts on beer, wine and spirits through Swiftly’s mobile platform. Shoppers who buy eligible products and scan their loyalty card and receive near-instant cashback via PayPal, Venmo or a prepaid Visa card.
The launch is supported by in-store signage intended to link digital promotions with physical shelves, a tactic retailers increasingly deploy to boost visibility and conversion.
Executives from both companies framed the move as a response to shifting shopper expectations. Henry Kim, Swiftly’s CEO, said the partnership strengthens the company’s foothold in convenience retail, while 7-Eleven’s Yaqub Baiani described it as part of a broader effort to “deliver greater value” to customers.
The collaboration underscores how convenience chains are turning to retail media, loyalty platforms and digital incentives as competition intensifies, and as alcohol brands seek new, compliant channels to reach consumers at the point of purchase.
