TEAL Mobility expands European hydrogen network
The company opened seven new stations in 2025, adding to the infrastructure for hydrogen‑powered trucks.
TEAL Mobility broadened its hydrogen refueling network across Europe, reflecting a growing interest in low‑carbon freight solutions. A joint venture equally owned by TotalEnergies and Air Liquide, the company opened seven new stations during the year, adding to the infrastructure required for hydrogen‑powered heavy trucks.
Two new French stations—located in Marseille‑Fos and Reims—became operational in late 2025. Both offer round‑the‑clock service and can dispense up to one tonne of hydrogen per day at 350 and 700 bar, the pressures required for commercial vehicles. These sites join existing infrastructure outside Paris. Beyond France, five additional stations opened in Germany and the Netherlands, contributing to a footprint that now includes 15 locations across five countries.
TEAL Mobility plans further expansion in 2026, including projects in Mulhouse, Antwerp, Rotterdam, Berlin and Duisburg, areas positioned near major freight corridors and ports. The company says broader coverage is necessary to support operators trialling or scaling hydrogen trucks, a vehicle segment that is beginning to diversify with fuel‑cell and hydrogen‑combustion models entering the market.
To support fleet operators, TEAL launched a single-access H₂ card and an online portal in 2025, aiming to simplify billing and management for cross‑border transport. It also participates in the Hydrogen Infrastructure Alliance, a coalition of six companies coordinating station deployment across Europe.
