Terpel grows LPG offer as it targets 30 stations across Colombia
The Colombian fuel retailer now offers autogas at six Bogotá stations, with two more due by year-end, with estimated savings of 20% to 35% compared with gasoline.
Terpel has brought AutoGLP, its liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) offer for vehicles, to Bogotá. The fuel is now available at six stations in the city, and two more will open before the end of the year, as the company expects to serve more than 1,500 vehicles a day there.
Across Colombia, 22 Terpel stations already sell AutoGLP in cities including Cartagena, Medellín, Cali and Manizales, and the company aims to reach 30 by the end of 2026, as reported by Autos de Primera. It expects to sell more than 15 million liters of AutoGLP nationwide this year.
Terpel estimates that drivers can save between 20% and 35% compared with gasoline, with fleets and public transport standing to benefit most. According to the company, the fuel also reduces particulate matter emissions by up to 81% and CO₂ emissions by 21%. Vehicles need a compatible system to use it.
