The future of payment integration with MADIC group

From a new US assembly operation to a retail-media-ready payment family, MADIC group used the NACS Show 2026 to bring its open, hardware-agnostic forecourt ecosystem to North America.

At the 2026 NACS Show in Las Vegas, the French group launched a product designed for the US market and a new US company that will assemble products locally. “It’s a great event for us,” said Fabrice Chapelain, CEO of MADIC group.

Chapelain put the European pay-at-the-pump market at around 350,000 outdoor payment terminals, against roughly 1.3 million in the US. Unlike fragmented Europe, the US can be addressed with one round of certification: “you’ve got all the potential market in one shot,” he said.

MADIC’s approach is agnostic to existing equipment, with retrofit kits for dispensers and a free choice of point of sale. “We are not pushing the customers to change everything,” Chapelain said. The aim is to move drivers from the forecourt into the more profitable convenience store.

Inside the store, MADIC is bringing EVO POS to the US. Developed by MADIC UK and already used across Europe, it will be sold through licensed partner Fiscal Systems and works in most US states. “It’s quite an intuitive product compared to some of the other products out there,” said Mark Gibbs, Account Director at MADIC UK.

In 2026, MADIC is launching the MGPay payment family, built for retail media. Raphael Rivera, Director of MADIC Americas, described it as “more than just a simple payment platform” – a payment media platform that can also support in-store ordering.

With local assembly, retrofit kits, an open-API store system and a single retail-media payment family, MADIC group arrived at the NACS Show ready to compete for the US forecourt without forcing retailers to start from scratch.
