The Kent Companies acquires Jack’s Convenience Stores

A total of eight locations will be rebranded to the Kent Kwik retail brand across Midland, San Angelo, and Abilene.

The Kent Companies announced it has recently acquired Jack’s Convenience Stores, to solidify its position in the West Texas markets.

This acquisition, which encompasses eight convenience stores, marks a significant milestone for the Midland based company. Established in 1957, the family-owned and operated business will take over locations across Midland, San Angelo, and Abilene.

Along with the Chevron/Texaco fuel brands, this positions Kent Kwik as a formidable competitor in the region’s convenience retail landscape.

“The Jack’s stores have been excellent competition for many years and now we are excited to call them family. This acquisition not only strengthens our local presence but also reinforces our dedication to supporting the communities we serve,” said Bill Kent, Owner of Kent Companies.

With the addition of the Jack’s Convenience Stores, The Kent Companies now boasts a total store count of 111 locations in 8 states along with over 150 dealer locations. As part of the transition, all acquired locations will undergo rebranding to Kent Kwik stores.
