Total opens its first petrol station in Mexico

French oil giant Total in partnership with Mexican service station operator Gasored recently opened the first Total-branded station in Mexico.

Located in the Lomas de Chapultepec district in Mexico City, the new petrol station offers Pemex fuels but with imported Total additives.  Lubricants and other fuel products are also sold.

More stations are set to open in the State of Mexico, Hidalgo, Guerrero, Morelos, Puebla, Querétaro, and Tlaxcala as part of the company’s plan to roll out 250 stations across the country by 2019, reports El Financiero.

Bonjour convenience stores and electric vehicle chargers will also be offered in some Total stations.
