UK: Nisa doubles "Scan & Save" service in stores nationwide
Jisp’s augmented reality vouchering system will expand into independent retailers locations throughout the country this month.
Nisa has announced that it will implement Jisp’s “Scan & Save” augmented reality vouchering system in stores nationwide.Throughout this month, the service will be deployed in independent retailers stores to offer a new way to engage with their customers.
“It’s been fantastic seeing our retailers adopt a new, trailblazing digital system in stores of every shape and size across the UK. Scan & Save is a superb solution for any retailer looking to deliver high-end technology that is often only accessible at larger supermarket chains,” said James Taylor, Head of Central Operations at Nisa.
Both companies ran a pilot test from September to December which resulted in 82,116 scans, 40,001 taps and 32,895 redemptions by users. Participating retailers accumulated a combined discount redemption value of £36,211 with over 2,300 unique shoppers while 82% becoming repeat redeemers.
Thanks to the digital nature of the Scan & Save service, Jisp is continuously analysing customer’s behaviors. This information allows retailers and brands to have a better understanding of its clients interactions and habits to build or strengthen their relationship.
“Our pilot achieved above and beyond what we hoped to accomplish, benefiting everyone from retailers and brands, all the way to the customers. We’re delighted to be working with Nisa to bring even more retailers our exclusive technology to help grow sales, increase loyalty and understand more about customers’ shopping habits through our data,” added Julian Fisher, CEO of Jisp.
The system has also strengthened sales and retailer ordering on several products. This provided opportunities to hone their relationship with the retail community by offering rewards like £450 to store owners for taps and redemptions.
