Circle K franchise stores in the Dallas–Fort Worth region have begun carrying VARIN, a hemp‑derived THC beverage positioned as an alternative within the expanding functional drinks market. The rollout marks the first time a THC drink has been stocked by Circle K locations in the United States, reflecting the broader growth of legally accessible, hemp‑based intoxicating products in convenience retail.

VARIN, which was recognised as the “Most Innovative Beverage of 2025” by Food & Beverage Magazine, contains hemp‑derived THC rather than marijuana‑derived cannabinoids sold in dispensaries. Hemp‑derived THC products are permitted under federal law provided they remain within regulatory thresholds, and have become more widely available in mainstream retail channels.

The beverage is marketed toward consumers seeking alternatives to alcohol, energy drinks and conventional cannabis products. VARIN combines THC with ingredients such as CBDV, theobromine, L‑theanine, lion’s mane and vitamin B‑12, intended to produce a mild psychoactive effect while avoiding overstimulation. The brand’s range includes four flavours available in 10 mg and 30 mg THC variants, all with zero sugar, caffeine or calories.

Circle K, which operates thousands of stores in the US and internationally, has been expanding its range of functional and emerging‑category beverages in response to shifting consumer preferences.
