USA: 7-Eleven sells 300 Speedway and 7-Eleven stores
Almost 300 sites across the United States will go to Anabi Oil, Jacksons Food and CrossAmerica Partners.
7-Eleven has signed definitive agreements to sell 293 Speedway and 7-Eleven stores to three separate buyers. The deal follows the completion of 7-Eleven's acquisition of Speedway from Marathon Petroleum Corp.
A part of the deal includes 124 Speedway and 7-Eleven sites in the Midwest, Northeast, Florida and Utah to Anabi Oil, a family-owned and operated business based in Upland, California.
Another 63 Speedway sites in California, Arizona and Nevada have been sold to Jacksons Food Stores, a chain based in Meridian, Idaho.
On April 28, 7-Eleven signed an agreement to sell 106 Speedway and 7-Eleven sites located in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast to CrossAmerica Partners LP, a publicly traded limited partnership headquartered in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
The $21 billion deal for Speedway involves approximately 3,800 stores located in 36 states across the United States.
