USA: Giant Food Stores hits 100 sites
The new fuel station, located in Bethlehem (Pennsylvania), has eight pumps total, each with a pay-at-the-pump feature. Diesel fuel is also available.
GIANT Food Stores 100th fuel station opened for business on Friday, May 3. The new Bethlehem fuel station offers eight pumps total with each of them with a Pay-at-the-Pump feature. GIANT gift cards can also be redeemed at fuel sites, including the new Bethlehem fuel station.
“For our Bethlehem area customers, this new fuel station provides added convenience and another place to save at the pump with our popular Gas Extra Rewards program”, said Bethlehem store manager GIANT Food Stores, Kurt Hoeflein. For every $100 spent on grocery and pharmacy out-of-pocket expenses at any GIANT using a BonusCard, customers receive ten cents off per gallon of gas when they fill up as part of Gas Extra Rewards.
Every time a customer fills up at a GIANT fuel location, a portion of the money spent is given to the new Reduced Emissions Program in partnership with GreenPrint. The “You Pump. We Plant.” Reduced Emissions Program gives back proportionally to local communities through environmental projects like planting trees while investing in carbon reductions projects like reforestation and solar power.
Also to celebrate its 100th fuel station, GIANT is donating $1,000 to Friends of Johnston, an all-volunteer charitable nonprofit formed in 2015 and dedicated to the preservation, restoration and sustainable adaptive reuse of the Estate of the first Mayor of Bethlehem.
