USA: Love’s opens five new Travel Stops across the country
The new forecourts are located in Oregon, Alabama, South Dakota, Utah and Indiana and add up to more than 280 new job positions.
Love's has opened five new Travel Stops in Heflin, Alabama; Kimball, South Dakota; Fillmore, Utah; Leavenworth, Indiana; and Klamath Falls, Oregon. The stores opened last Thursday and add more than 380 truck parking spaces and 280 jobs to the communities they’re located in.
“For only the second time in the history of Love’s, we’re opening five new locations in one day that will be ready to help get customers back on the road quickly and safely,” said Greg Love, co-CEO of Love’s. “Our team members in Klamath Falls, Heflin, Kimball, Fillmore and Leavenworth will provide customers the Highway Hospitality they expect when stopping at Love’s,” he added. The inaugurations come one week after the chain opened four other Travel Stops in Montana, North Dakota, Iowa and Texas.
Each stations offers a wide variety of services such as filling stations with several kinds of fuels, showers and laundry facilities; parking spaces for trucks and cars; dog parks; and fast food restaurants such as Carl’s Jr., Bojangles, Godfather Pizza, Subway, Taco John’s and Hardee’s, all opening in early January.
In honor of the grand openings, Love's will donate $2,000 to nonprofits organizations in each town. In Klamath Falls, Oregon, the donation will be split between Mazama High School and the Klamath County Sheriff's Department; for Heflin, Alabama, the organization selected was Hearts of Cleburne; in Kimball, South Dakota, was Kimball Area Foundation; for Fillmore, Utah, an organization will be chosen at a later date; and in Leavenworth, Indiana, the South Crawford Elementary School will receive the donation.
