USA: Parker’s to build new Chick-fil-A and Starbucks integrated store
The recently announced site will be built in Savannah, Georgia, and will offer its Parker’s Kitchen services as well.
Parker’s has announced plans to build a new store integrated with Chick-fil-A, Starbucks and Parker’s Kitchen services. The installation will be built in a commercial location in Savannah, Georgia, and its expected to be opened in summer 2022 as the company’s 75th retail store.
“We’re absolutely thrilled to develop this underutilized site and to preserve the globe, which is an iconic landmark for many Savannah residents. We listened to the public throughout the planning process and have made a significant investment to save the globe and to develop this long-neglected site in a more thoughtful, strategic way,” said Greg Parker, Parker’s Founder and CEO.
The newest location will incorporate the existing 60-foot metal globe, which in the 1950s served as Savannah Gas Co. natural gas storage tank, to anchor the parcel. It will also offer grab-and-go products and several of its hot bar signature items. These include a wide offer of hot and cold beverages, its Southern Fried Chicken Tender Sandwich, fresh-made salads, fuel and a wide variety of convenience items.

The Parker Companies, parent company of the retail brand and food service, will handle the development of the site. It’s construction will be in charge of Pinyan Company, a local constructor firm.
