USA: Quicklee's expands into Genesee county with 27th store
The family-owned retailer inaugurated its first location in the county to offer its customers fuel and convenience solutions.
Quicklee’s Convenience Stores announced the opening of its first Genesee county location in the city of Batavia. The retailer headquartered in Avon, New York, has inaugurated a new store located at a site of the former Bob Evans.
“When we first announced our plans to build, when we began hiring and now as we open, the people of Batavia have been helpful, welcoming, and excited about this new store. As a family-owned and operated business we believe community support is so important, and we wanted to create a space that encouraged travellers to stop, and see what Batavia is really all about,” said Ken Perelli, Vice President and COO of Quicklee’s.
This new opening adds up to a total of 27 convenience stores owned and operated by Quicklee’s. The site will offer its customers a variety of cold beverages, snacks and food items and is also equipped with new touch screen fuel pumps to provide travellers with weather updates and traffic alerts. The company also has plans to install EV charging stations and a Tim Horton’s on the site in the coming months.
“This store is located right off of the Thruway at exit 48, making it an ideal location for travellers as well as a great place for locals to stop. We have gas, diesel, a great variety of snacks, and a friendly staff ready to help you on your way. It really is a great location, one we hope will encourage more visitors to check out the area,” added Brian Mongi, General Manager of Quicklee’s.
Family-owned and- operated, Quicklee’s has ties with national brands like Tim Horton’s, but its local roots are a key part of their identity. In addition to providing a variety of convenience store offerings, the firm supports community organisations, and works with small businesses to provide them with placement in its stores.
