USA: Stewart’s Shop to open new forecourt in New York
The inauguration is part of the retailer’s plans to open 20 new stores and rebuild several of its existing sites in the region.
Stewart’s Shop announced the opening of its newest forecourt in Colonie, New York. The recently-built site is part of the retailer's plans to expand its footprint across the country in 2022 to offer more customers its fuel and convenience solutions.
The site is equipped with every amenity expected for this kind of installation: gas pumps and plenty of parking for drivers as well as outdoor seating. Inside, clients can choose from a wide variety of products such as a mix of hot and cold food and beverages, ice cream and a beer cave.
The opening will involve a special event scheduled for January 14 that will include special offers on food and fuel. In honor of the inauguration, the company will donate $2,000 to the Warrior Will Foundation, which helps newborns with life threatening illnesses and their families.
This is only one step in the Stewart’s Shops strategy for expanding throughout the year. The chain expects to build 20 new stores, rebuild 13 installations and open 7 new market shops in the area during 2022.
