Yesway modernizes fuel supply operations
The new technology platform is designed to improve sourcing decisions, carrier visibility and operational efficiency across its multi-state network.
Yesway has announced plans to modernize its fuel supply operations as the retailer continues to expand its network of convenience stores and fuel sites across the United States.
The company, which operates 450 locations under the Yesway and Allsup’s banners across nine states in the Midwest and Southwest, is replacing its legacy fuel supply platform with a new system aimed at improving visibility, decision-making and coordination throughout its fuel distribution network.
According to the retailer, the upgrade will provide its fuel supply team with access to real-time tank readings, pricing information, demand forecasts and allocation data, enabling faster and more informed sourcing decisions at the site level. The platform will use AI-driven forecasting and dynamic pricing tools to help optimize fuel purchasing across the network.
A key component of the initiative is improved visibility into fuel deliveries and carrier operations. The new system, supplied by Gravitate, will provide real-time updates on fuel orders, delivery status and estimated arrival times, helping the retailer monitor inventory levels and logistics activity across hundreds of locations.
Yesway said the enhanced connectivity will reduce reliance on manual processes and phone-based communication with carriers, allowing supply teams to respond more quickly to changing market conditions and operational requirements.
