Yesway raises $280 million in Nasdaq IPO
Yesway operates 449 convenience stores across nine states in the Midwest and Southwest
US convenience store operator Yesway has priced its initial public offering at $20.00 per share, raising $280 million as it lists on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the ticker symbol "YSWY."
The Fort Worth, Texas-based company offered 14 million shares of Class A common stock, with underwriters granted a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 2.1 million shares at the same price.
Established in 2015, Yesway operates 449 convenience stores across nine states in the Midwest and Southwest. The company has developed and opened 91 new stores in recent years and is known for its foodservice offer, private-label products, and the Allsup's deep-fried burrito, a brand it acquired as part of its expansion strategy.
The IPO marks a notable moment for the US convenience retail sector, signaling investor appetite for established c-store operators with regional scale and a differentiated foodservice proposition.
