AI Corporation and Visa team up to boost mobility payments in Europe
The partnership focuses on fleet and mobility payments across fuel, EV charging and broader vehicle-related services.
The ai Corporation, a specialist in fuel and mobility payment solutions, has signed a long-term agreement with Visa to expand Visa Fleet 2.0 across Europe, a programme that gives technology partners the tools and validation needed to meet Visa's standards for functionality, integration and security.
The partnership focuses on fleet and mobility payments across fuel, EV charging and broader vehicle-related services. Cards issued through the arrangement are accepted worldwide and can access merchant networks beyond traditional fuel retail, giving fleet operators and issuers more flexibility as the mobility landscape shifts.
"Innovation is reshaping the way fleet and mobility payments are managed, creating exciting new possibilities across the industry," said Neil Halls, Head of Fleet, Mobility and Benefits at Visa Europe. "This collaboration will help bring greater choice and modern payment experiences to fleet, EV and mobility providers."
"We are driving targeted penetration of Visa Fleet 2.0 across various segments of the fuel, EV and mobility payments market in Europe," said Piers Horak, CEO of The ai Corporation.
For fuel retailers, the practical implication is a faster route to launching or upgrading fleet card programmes that work across fuel, EV charging and other vehicle-related services, with fraud management and analytics built in.
