Applegreen Electric grows EV charging footprint in New Jersey

Eight sites now live with full network coverage expected by the end of 2026.

Applegreen Electric has opened eight new ultra-fast electric vehicle (EV) charging sites on the New Jersey Turnpike and Garden State Parkway.

The move marks a key step in the company’s plan to expand charging access along major travel corridors in the United States. Chargers support both CCS and NACS connectors, with Autocharge functionality and speeds of up to 400 kW, allowing fast top-ups for a wide range of EV models.

To encourage early use, Applegreen Electric is offering introductory pricing of $0.35 per kilowatt-hour via its mobile app and $0.40 per kWh for Tap & Go payments.

The company plans to reach full EV charging coverage at all service areas on both highways by the end of 2026, aiming to meet growing demand for reliable and accessible public charging across the state.
