Argentina set to open its largest YPF service station
The project will modernize travel and logistics along one of the country’s busiest transport corridors.
Argentina is moving forward with the construction of what will become the nation’s largest service station, a 10‑hectare complex designed to reshape long‑distance travel and freight logistics. The project, supported by energy company YPF and developed by the company Jorge Caso S.A., is rising alongside one of Argentina’s main highway routes connecting major urban and industrial centers.
The new hub, located on the highway connecting Rosario and Buenos Aires, aims to go beyond traditional fuel supply by offering a full range of services for cargo transport, intercity buses and private motorists. It will feature a 24‑hour dining area, climate‑controlled rest spaces and a commercial zone suited for cafés, convenience stores and branded franchises.
The development also includes a mechanical assistance center with rapid‑service bays, tire replacement, lubrication and emergency support, reflecting the growing demand from heavy‑duty transport operators. Plans call for expanded infrastructure for both light vehicles and trucks, along with dedicated rest areas for drivers, electric‑vehicle charging stations, natural‑gas fuel options and controlled access points.
Construction is progressing at scale, supported by an on‑site concrete plant installed specifically for the project. The opening is targeted for next year, positioning the new complex as one of Argentina’s most ambitious service‑infrastructure investments and a key node for future mobility along the country’s main transport axis.
