Asda reaches 50th ‘On the Move’ store milestone with new opening
The retailer stated that it will focus on further expanding the reach of the brand operated in partnership with EG Group.
Asda has reached its 50th ‘On the Move’ store with its latest opening, a new outlet located in Derby. Four more sites are scheduled to open as well, accelerating the expanding pace of the brand operated by the retailer in partnership with EG Group.
Each retail outlet is designed to broaden the number of new and existing customers who can access the supermarket’s products in convenient neighbourhood and roadside locations With over 1,300 branded and Asda-own label products, the ‘On the Move’ locations offer a modern and welcoming convenience store environment. Asda supplies the products on a wholesale agreement to EG Group, which own and operate each site.

The Asda ‘On the Move’ sites also bring a wide range of new partner spaces to customers, with EG owned food-to-go brands and franchise partners such as Starbucks, Greggs, Subway, and Cinnabon providing a wide range of products in store.
