Global Partners expands fleet fuel program with healthcare network
New agreement supports nearly 800 vehicles serving hospitals and community care across New Jersey.
Global Partners has entered a new partnership with Hackensack Meridian Health to support the healthcare network’s vehicle operations through a fleet fuel card program, strengthening fuel access for hospitals, outpatient facilities, and community services across New Jersey.
Under the agreement, Global Partners will provide fleet fuel cards for approximately 800 vehicles operated by Hackensack Meridian Health. The program is expected to generate close to $500,000 in fuel cost savings, helping streamline transportation operations while allowing the healthcare provider to redirect resources toward patient care and community health initiatives.
“Supporting organizations that serve on the front lines of our communities is central to our mission,” said Michael Lingman, Global Partners Senior Director of Commercial Fleet Fuel Programs. “We are proud to partner with Hackensack Meridian Health to provide reliable fuel solutions that help power their essential services, reduce operating costs, and ultimately strengthen the communities we both serve.”
The company has an established presence in New Jersey, operating energy terminals that supply gasoline and diesel, as well as retail fueling sites across the state. This regional infrastructure enables consistent fuel access for large service fleets operating near healthcare facilities.
In addition to fleet support, Global Partners is contributing $25,000 to the Hackensack Meridian Health Foundation to support healthcare programs, innovation, and local community initiatives.
