JET launches supply partnership with Lekkerland in Germany
The brand’s 680 sites will now be supplied by the convenience company.
Fuel retail chain JET and convenience specialist Lekkerland have announced a new cooperation for the supply of the brand’s locations across Germany.
Supply operations were launched in October alongside the further development of individual product ranges and the expansion of the promotional business.
“In order to have a strong partner who can take the nationwide supply of our stores and the joint development of our product range to a new level, we have decided to work together with the convenience specialist Lekkerland. We see the partnership as a great opportunity to be even more successful in the growing on-the-go market with new offers and concepts and look forward to working together,” said Oliver Reichert, Manager Retail Germany at JET Tankstellen Deutschland GmbH.
Through this partnership, the retailer is setting the course to continue making a clear difference for customers in the store business in the future.
The chain has a nationwide network of more than 680 stations and over 280 car washes. On the other hand, Lekkerland manages around 41,800 outlets throughout Germany and employs around 3,700 people.
“The focus on consumer needs and continuous development are two important success factors in today's convenience segment. Both partners have internalized this and will work continuously to further increase the attractiveness of JET service station stores,” added Patrick Steppe, CEO of Lekkerland SE.
Since 2020, Lekkerland has been part of REWE Group, one of the leading retail and tourism groups in Germany and Europe.
