Latin fuel retailers met March 20 for Comision Latinoamericana de Empresarios del Combustible (CLAEC)

Delegations of fuel retailers from several Latin American nations met in Guatemala on March 20 to announce several agreements including for example a joint position stating that the process to increase the use of biodiesel must be precise with rigorous and clear regulations.

The groups also requested better protection against potential situations of abuse by bigger oil companies against small independent retailers.

CLAEC groups fuel retailers from 14 Latin American member countries.
