Over 100 Proxi stores become parcel pickup points

Harnois Énergies’ convenience chain now handles Purolator package collection and returns at participating locations across Eastern Canada, with other carriers possibly added depending on the region.

More than 100 Proxi convenience stores in Eastern Canada now serve as parcel pickup and return locations, Harnois Énergies has announced. The service, operated with Penguin Pickup, is available for Purolator parcels at all participating stores, and other carriers may be added depending on the region.

Customers choose a Proxi store from the carrier’s delivery options and then follow the instructions provided. Those who use the new service will also have access to promotional offers.

“Picking up or returning a parcel shouldn’t be complicated. By building on our extensive network of convenience stores, we offer consumers a simple and accessible solution that fits easily into their daily journeys,” said Mathieu Robillard, Vice President, Operations, Retail Network and Cardlock at Harnois Énergies.

The Proxi banner, owned by family company Harnois Énergies, groups more than 200 convenience stores across six Canadian provinces. Harnois Énergies was founded in 1958 and is based in Joliette, Quebec.
