Q1 upgrades station with 200 kW charging and HVO100 diesel

The German fuel retailer’s site in Leinefelde now offers a two-point hypercharger and renewable HVO fuel, alongside discounted charging through its Q1 Card.

Q1 has added a hypercharger with up to 200 kW and Diesel HVO100 to its station in Leinefelde, in the German state of Thuringia. The charger has two charging points and is available around the clock.

HVO100 is made entirely from renewable raw materials, mainly biogenic residues and waste. According to the certified supply chain, it cuts greenhouse gas emissions by at least 80% over its life cycle compared with fossil diesel. The fuel complies with the DIN EN 15940 standard and can only be used in vehicles approved by the manufacturer, indicated by the “XTL” label on the fuel cap.

“Leinefelde is conveniently located for many commuters and travelers passing through the Eichsfeld region. With the hypercharger and HVO100, we have expanded our offer here for both EV drivers and diesel drivers,” said Sebastian Herkenhoff, Head of Mobility Solutions at Q1.

Customers can also use the Q1 Card, a hybrid fuel and charging card that offers discounted Q1 Autostrom electricity at more than 20,000 charge points in Germany. Osnabrück-based Q1 Energie, an independent company, operates more than 230 stations and over 250 charge points across Germany, and also supplies lubricants and bio-LNG.
