Rubis adds 10 fuel stations to Uganda network
The retailer has expanded its footprint with new locations across central and western Uganda as it continues rebranding sites and enhancing convenience and automotive services.
Rubis Uganda has expanded its retail network with the opening of 10 new fuel stations, strengthening its presence across the country as competition in the downstream petroleum sector continues to evolve.
The new stations are located in Nabbingo, Naluvule, Nakirebe, Lyantonde, Busabala, Kulambiro, Kasangati, Kisoga, Namusera and along the Masaka Bypass. According to Managing Director William Fillet, the additions form part of a broader strategy to increase access to the company's products and services for motorists and local communities.
With the latest openings, Rubis has rebranded 67 service stations under its brand identity, while a further eight sites are scheduled for conversion, as reported by The Independent.
Beyond fuel retailing, the company is investing in complementary services designed to enhance customer experience. Rubis currently operates 29 RUBiS Enjoy convenience stores and has established 18 Castrol service bays offering lubricants and vehicle maintenance support.
The retailer has also introduced dedicated Castrol Power 1 service points aimed at Uganda's large motorcycle taxi segment.
Rubis is additionally upgrading station amenities, including a toilet improvement program intended to provide cleaner and more comfortable facilities for travelers.
