Shell celebrates its first year in Ecuador

Shell has completed its first year in Ecuador through EnergyLíder. The operator of the brand currently owns a network of 16 service stations distributed in four cities and caters 700,000 drivers monthly throughout the nation.
The mobility company landed in the country with long-term plans, starting operations in January with its first forecourt located in Quito. New locations were added gradually in Guayaquil, Manta and Machala; besides Samborondón and Daule, two districts near the country’s main port.
"We are focused on providing Ecuadorians a unique experience based on high standards of service, not only in the quality of gasoline but also in everything that Shell will bring to its stations at very competitive prices. The goal is to close 2022 with 30 stations and a sales perspective of over 7',000,000 gallons per month, providing service 24 hours a day, and generating employment for 550 people," said Diego Endara, President of EnergyLíder.
Along with stations, the company also installed the brand's convenience stores in two formats, Shell Select and Shell Select - Fresh Point. The former is a proposal for quick and convenient purchases while the latter is a store of up to 500 m2 with an offer that includes snacks prepared on the spot and partnerships with other well-known food brands in the local market.
Soon the Ecuadorian consumer will be able to access Shell V-Power, the premium gasoline developed jointly with Ferrari, designed to protect the engine and allow it to deliver maximum performance and efficiency.
