Plenoil, a leading operator of automated fuel stations in Spain, plans to open over 40 fuel stations this year with a projected investment of 20 million euros, announced the company during the presentation of its 2020 results.

Plenoil aims to double its turnover this year, reaching over 300 million euros. In addition, the company aims to become the first franchising-free automatic petrol station operator in Spain in 2022, with a total projected turnover of more than 450 million euros.

In 2020, the Spanish-owned company met the objectives of its expansion plan. Plenoil surpassed 150 million euros in turnover by the end of 2020, doubling the figure obtained in the previous year. The company also opened 30 additional fuel stations in 2020, thus achieving its target of reaching 65 operational sites by the end of the period.

All Plenoil fuel stations are staffed during working hours every day of the week, and are available 24 hours a day in self-service.
