Tamoil brings smart coffee kiosks to unmanned fuel stations
New En Route concept offers customizable hot and cold beverages at self-service mobility locations across the Netherlands.
Tamoil Nederland has introduced a new smart coffee kiosk concept at its unmanned service stations, becoming the first company in the Netherlands to deploy the En Route system at self-service mobility locations.
Developed in partnership with Woerden-based Boa Nova Retail Group, the first En Route kiosks have been installed at T-Energy Express Nieuwegein and Tamoil Express Nieuw-Vennep. The rollout is intended to expand food and beverage options for customers stopping to refuel, charge electric vehicles (EV) or use car wash facilities.
The En Route kiosks offer a range of hot and cold drinks, including coffee specialties, iced coffee, matcha tea and iced tea. Customers can personalize their beverages by adjusting milk preferences, sweetness levels and flavors, with vegan options also available.
According to Tamoil Nederland, the initiative responds to growing demand for more complete roadside services. “Our customers are increasingly looking for a complete stop on the road: refueling, charging, washing and enjoying a good cup of coffee,” the company said.
The launch forms part of Tamoil’s broader strategy to transform its stations into multi-service mobility hubs. T-Energy Express Nieuwegein already combines conventional fuels with alternative fuel options, EV fast charging, car wash services and automated food and beverage offerings.
