Tesco, Vauxhall offer up to one year free EV charging

Both companies have partnered to support the UK's e-mobility transition through the retailer’s 619 charging locations.

Tesco and Vauxhall have partnered to support the UK’s transition to electrification by offering up to one year of free electric vehicle (EV) charging credit.

Both companies have joined the country’s Electric Streets of Britain campaign to make its charging infrastructure more accessible for drivers considering making the switch to EV. The British manufacturer will offer new EV customers up to one year free EV charging credit through the retailer’s charging network.​

Tesco currently operates over 2,700 Pod Point charging bays at 619 locations, one of the largest charging networks across the country.

“This collaboration underscores our dedication to environmental sustainability and our vision for a future where electric driving is within easy reach for all. As we progress towards offering a fully electric version of every model in our lineup, partnerships like these are pivotal in supporting our customers' transition to cleaner, greener driving solutions,” stated Vauxhall through a LinkedIn post.

New customers who purchase an electric Vauxhall car or van direct from a certified retailer or through the online store will be able to benefit from one year’s worth of free charging credit when visiting Tesco.
