TRAVIS grows electric truck charging network across Europe

The company has partnered with Spirii to offer a full-service charging solution integrating infrastructure development with booking and payment services.

Truck service platform TRAVIS has announced the launch of a new comprehensive charging solution that spans across Europe.

Building on its existing network of over 2,500 truck service locations, the company aims to enhance reliable and efficient access to charging infrastructure through a new partnership with Spirii. The partnership will offer a full-service charging solution designed specifically for electric trucks, integrating infrastructure development with booking and payment services.

Spirii will develop and manage the charging infrastructure while TRAVIS will make these locations easily findable and bookable through its platform.

"Through this partnership with Spirii, we enable transport companies, parking locations, and other businesses to offer chargers for their own fleet, with the potential of opening them partially for public bookings," said Jochem de Graaf, CEO of TRAVIS.

By integrating infrastructure development with booking and payment solutions, the partnership aims to make electric trucking more practical and economically viable, helping the industry meet evolving sustainability goals.

The collaboration between TRAVIS and Spirii is set to span all European markets, marking a major step forward in the race to electrify long-haul trucking.
